I have collected a number of historical artifacts from the 1893 Chicago World’s Fair, including these photographs, which depict Egyptian dancers and the Egyptian Theatre where they performed more than 100 years ago. These were among my most treasured sources of inspiration for THE GIRL ON THE MIDWAY STAGE.
